Who these terms are with. This site is published by Modern Financial Intelligence, LLC, a Louisiana limited liability company. Using the site means accepting these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

The material here is general, not advice to you. The framework, the essays and every other page are published for general information. None of it takes account of your business, your records or your circumstances, and none of it is accounting, audit, legal, tax, investment or securities advice. Reading it creates no engagement and no client relationship.

No engagement until one is signed. Submitting the Diagnostic form, sending email, or speaking with me does not create an engagement. An engagement begins only when a written consulting agreement is signed by both parties, and that agreement — not this site — governs the work, the fees and the confidentiality obligations.

Sample figures are illustrative. Any numbers, charts or report extracts shown on this site are constructed for illustration. They are not the results of a real engagement and they are not a representation of what any particular business will find or achieve.

What is not provided. Modern Financial Intelligence does not perform audits, reviews, compilations or any attestation engagement, expresses no assurance on any information, and does not provide tax preparation or filing, legal advice, securities brokerage or investment management.

Ownership. The written works, the framework as expressed on this site, the reporting templates, the wordmark and the design are the property of Modern Financial Intelligence, LLC. You are welcome to read, quote briefly with attribution, and link to anything here. Republishing a piece in full, or using the material in a commercial product, requires written permission.

Links out. Where this site links to something published elsewhere, that material is not mine and I am not responsible for it.

Availability. The site is provided as it is. I do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular page will remain available. To the fullest extent the law allows, Modern Financial Intelligence, LLC is not liable for any loss arising from use of this site or reliance on anything published on it. Liability arising from an engagement is governed by that engagement’s agreement.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana.
